It’s The Pandemic; I Quit My Job and Lessons Learned

Nowadays, it’s tough to land a job, especially in the middle of the pandemic. The numbers of unemployment start to affect everyone. Everyone is afraid of getting lay off, and everyone is trying their best to manage salaries.
Well not for me, I quit in the middle on the pandemic. Don’t get me wrong; of course, I’m terrified. I’m scared of not being able to pay my bills. I don’t know if my savings will be enough. Not including, the worry of not be able to find a new career has drain half of my energy. All kind of horror stories starts to conjure in my mind.
But, one thing I’m not afraid is letting go of things that are no longer giving me any purpose. Therefore, I saw how my job has no longer brings me joy.
I was a Human Resources Officer in a small publishing company. The company only focused on departments that contribute to profit and never recognize human resources as an essential division. I don’t even know what the function of human resources in that company is? So I decided to quit. Along the way, there are a few things I learned from the journey;
